I delivered a baby ,50 days back and now started cooking and doing small chores but all are advising against it. Is it true if I start using cold water ,will it affect the baby.? Like does baby catch cold n fever?

Nope dear, it's not like that.... the logic behind is your system is very vulnerable right now and you are a lactating mother, if you do not wear slippers while working in cold water or have cold milk or food you will catch viral infection.....and ultimately baby will suffer since you have to feed the baby anyhow.....so it's advised that you should not get exposure of cold for 2-3 months , else you can do your household work......no issues ! Take care 😊

Your consumption of cold water or anything else does not affect baby. Just ensure that you are eating nutritious diet. If you are comfortable with housework you may do the chores. As a new mother with multiple responsibilities.. its better that you look after yourself as well. If help is available, accept it. Medically speaking depending on whether you had a normal deliverway or caesarian section, the amount of weight u lift will vary. You may consult further for any breastfeeding counselling or any other advise.
