I had a circumcision to treat phimosis just under three weeks ago and have developed an infection at the site of the wound. I was placed on Flucloxacillin 500mg (1 four times a day for one week). I wash my penis twice a day in a warm water/Epsom salt solution as per my doctor's advice. However, I have found conflicting reports on the efficacy of Epsom salt. Would it be better to use an antiseptic liquid such as TPC instead to sterilise the water and promote wound cleanliness?
