Post hernia surgery precautions

I am in a field job where i am expected to handle weight during machinery overhaul. I had a laparoscopic surgery recently for hernia on left side. I will resume work 6 weeks post surgery. Please let me know if using supporters will be helpful while carrying out rigrous work related activity. Please advice on type of supporter which will be helpful. Work place is hot and sweat is a common feature. Work duration is upto 12 hours a day. Please advice. Thank you.

U need to be very cautious about precautions. Yes supporters will help u . And u should also avoid weight lifting as much as possible. Eat healthy diet .do proper rest.

Which hernial surgery? Inguinal or Scrotal hernia? In Inguinal hernia scrotal support will not be of great help.
