Hello, This is about my father, 67 years old now, 4 years back he met an accident injuring his skull and brain, following continuous bleeding inside the brain, first treated with injections but later after after 20 days Surgery was done to remove the clot. Following this operation, he started recovering, but 2.5 months later, he was diagnosed with abscess on the surgical portion, so another surgery was performed to remove the abscess, this second surgery was done in Dec 2013. Following all this he has been recovering but very slowly, even with physiotherapist at home, but we were fine, he got his right side impacted with hemiparesis, so became dependant. Now from last 1 week he was complaining about headache, and now from 3 days he has started getting seizures, which never happened before. Yesterday's mri says that no new formation but previous clot that should have been gone by now has caused the swelling in the brain causing seizure. What should we do, how to deal with this.
