My son has been overweight in the past but has now has lost considerable weight with diet and exercise. We need to determine if he has gynocomastia or if he simply has excess fat in the breast area that can be reduced with further exercise. My family DOES have a history of Gynecomastia which I also had, and had to get the breast tissue surgically removed.
I understand that nowadays this condition might be treatable with liposuction or other less invasive procedures. Please let me know what would be the first step and if you can examine my son and give us a diagnosis.
Thanks
