Your CT scan findings indicate subtle polypoidal mucosal thickening in the inferior walls of both maxillary sinuses, more pronounced on the right side, along with mild mucosal thickening in the right middle ethmoidal air cells. These features are consistent with right maxillary sinusitis and mild right ethmoidal sinusitis. Additionally, there is a noted deviated nasal septum (DNS) towards the right, which may be contributing to impaired sinus drainage and chronic inflammation. The skull radiography shows that both styloid processes are stout and elongated, extending till the level of the alveolus. This may suggest bilateral elongated styloid processes, raising the possibility of Eagle syndrome, especially if associated with symptoms like throat discomfort, foreign body sensation, or referred pain. The sensation of mucus in your throat (postnasal drip) is likely secondary to ongoing sinus inflammation, particularly in the maxillary and ethmoidal sinuses.
