It has reduced compared to previous. But it is still severe OSA.It has to come down to atleast
Next Steps
Optimum CPAP titration should be done.Better to get it under observation .Manual Cpap would be ideal
Health Tips
If AHI is still high there can be associated complications like metaboic syndrome ,resistant hypertension

Firstly, this is a partial sleep study. The best assessment can be done using a complete night sleep study. Having said that the AHI of 70 previously was very severe, now it has come down to 48 which shows that it has reduced, if this has happened by the use of BIPAP/CPAP , then still there is a need of adjustment of the pressure to optimise and reduce AHI further. If this wasn't done with CPAP then ideally repeat sleep study with CPAP for optimising the treatment
Next Steps
repeat sleep study complete night along with CPAP

Based on AHI, patient has definitely improved but still has severe OSA.
Next Steps
split night sleep study for cpap titration, weight reduction should be done. Oral cavity and throat examination should be done for possible surgical correction to decrease severity of OSA which is done by ENT surgeon
Health Tips
Continue CPAP every night without fail and go for cpap titration study
