Hi, Don’t worry, low lying placenta is a very common condition during pregnancy . You are now 26 weeks .......so usually we wait for the uterus to grow bigger.......during next weeks of pregnancy and eventually the low lying placenta is expected to be moved upwards....without any further problems...... There are degrees of low lying placenta 1. Near the cervix . 2. Partially covering the cervix - partial placenta praevia . 3. Totally covering the cervix - complete placenta praevia. You might need a complete bed rest and a C - Section obviously when it is the last two case. Otherwise it is necessary to wait. So take good care and wait.....leave your worries behind.....for more clear explaination.....please consult your Obg doc......contact me if necessary......thank you
