Could dehydration cause heart rate to raise I am currently on calaptin sr 120 BD , CTD 12.5 morning. My TMT ECHO LIPIDS RFT SF PP HB1C THYROID normal. My BP remains elevated 135/76 to 154/82.Earlier was on concor am5/5 morning and Telma am 40/5. Why my BP does not come to normal range. Since yesterday my Doc advised to take Etozola 0.5 bed time for ten days. Kindly advise do I need to undergo any other test or change in medication. Regards

Hi, you can take t.amlodipine 5mg along with current drugs to get control. Follow up with doctor during medicine titration. Reduce salt in food and walk 30 minutes a day.
