For Pigmetation. Kojic Avis, arbutine and licorice containing creams are considered safe. But using over the counter product like no marks and fair and lovely would be very tricky. There is no regulation in India to display all ingredients in products their possible side effect and vigilance about the side effect ( international journal of Pharma research and health science, edition sep 2016)! In such case NO QUALIFIED Dermatologist would advice you to continue such creams.
In order to prevent Pigmetation due to UV RAYS AND pollution, try using sunscreen with spf 30+ !
