I have a acquatic pet turtle I don't want to leave him but I have 6months baby..I read on net about salmonella what should I do I am really confused...do I have to leave the turtle

If you follow strict hygiene rules and seperate spaces for the turtle and the baby there are very less chances of infection in baby but infants have weak immune system and orone to salmonella if exposed to contaminated surface or food or anything...

Yes it's not safe to have turtles near infants. Infants don't have a good immunity
