Firstly one needs to know more details, gestation of your baby ( I guess premature baby this the cranial ultrasound was done) and what days of age the flare was noted. Not to worry, it just needs to be repeat and followed up as per unit policy

Below 36 weeks of gestational age, this can be normal too. But definately need to repeat at completed 40 weeks of gestational age. If this is for a term baby, then it suggests that there is some insult to the brain (less oxygen supply or during pregnancy). This cannot be corrected by any medicine but yes if early stimulation therapy can be done for the child to prevent long term problems. Repeat usg is done after 1 month and maybe MRI brain at 3 months of age.
