My daughter's period started at the age of12.sometimes it was regular..and sometimes at the intervals of 2-3months.I thought it will automatically become regular after 18.instead now she is18.. but period is stopped from last 7 months....I m in worry

Thanks for your question. She needs to be seen by a Gynaecologist and have some blood tests done. An ultrasonography may also be needed. There are several causes for irregular bleeding in teenagers. I am assuming that you have ruled out the possibility of a pregnancy. If not the doctor you see will do it anyway.
