Periods problem

I am getting my periods 12 days before my date. It is only in drops. I have no pain. There is no proper flow. It has happened before as well for 2 months but not every consecutive ones. And i have no chances of getting pregnant now. I get regular periods and without any pain and on the same day every month. Please let me know the probable reasons why am I getting this. Also suggest some remedy.
