If periods are late this time do urine pregnancy test. If negative Do ultrasound pelvis. Consult gynecologist and get local examination done. Sometimes ovarian cysts in previous cycle or endometrial polyps; fibroid can cause bleeding. Do Thyroid function test and CBC.

You will need to be examined and few tests will be needed as well irregular heavy periods can be because of hormone imbalance. Based on findings and tests, your treatment can be planned. A personal visit to gynaecologist will be needed
Next Steps
TSH, CBC, ultrasound pelvis
