My periods is late by 8days.. I have also done pregnancy test but it was negative. What could be the reason for delay and any medicine to get periods

Period delay may be due to stress ,hormonal imbalance or pregnancy..if pregnancy test is negative then u should rule out with other two,.. wait for a week &repeat pregnancy test,if it is negative again u can take a tablet for withdrawal bleeding
