Periods are late by 8 days. Could you please suggest a medicine to have periods or the cause of the delay

Get a urine Pregnancy test done if any chance of pregnancy. If negative you can be given medicines. However if you have irregular periods frequently you have to get investigations done to find out the cause It is likely that it is due to hormonal imbalance like pcod hypothyroidism or prolactin excess
