Thank you for your question.
What you experience is called dysmenorrhea or period pain. This commonly starts once the ovaries start releasing an egg soon after you reach puberty and start menstruating. For some girls this can be a few months later. The process changes the chemicals released from the ovary and the effect they have on the muscles of the uterus. These chemicals are also responsible for the uncomfortable sensations you have during the first few days of your period including back n leg pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness or sweating. This is unpleasant but actually very common and often very normal too. However, it does not mean you have to suffer. Please see your family doctor or gynaecologist who can help you with some tablets to take during periods to help you get through the day. They are not harmful and do not have any long term effect on your reproductive system. They will help you feel more comfortable and allow you to do things you need to do like exams, college, sports etc Also discuss what you can eat and exercises you can do to ease the discomfort. It might be helpful for you to keep a chart of how intense you think the pain is by scoring it out of 10 morning noon and night.
hope this helps
