I started birth control on the fifth day of my last period which was 14 days ago and I started my period today, I've had brown discharge for the last few days and I don't know if I keep taking the hormone pill or switch to the sugar pills

I'm sure u must have taken the sugar pills by mistake in place of normal pills which is why the discharge happened ,or there might be some Infection.
