My anal region was burning 2 weeks back.. On 10th October 2022 I noticed thr was big lump and swollen and it was painful.. I went for clinic and was prescribed hemorrhoids tablets and cream.. And on 14th October 2022 night .. puss started to come out from the lump I went immediately to hospital and took scan and after examining doctor told it's PERIANAL ABSCESS with ANAL FISTULA 1.7cm ×0.7cm And doctor recommenda immediate Surgery. Is 1.7cm×0.7cm a big abscess how much would they need to cut to drain the abscess? Doctor didn't explain me properly and just told to get Surgery done Will it be painful? How long will it be painful after surgery I have attached the report pls check and let me know.. I'm so scared

Don't worry, under anesthesia it should be done. And after surgery also medicines will continue.

This may require surgery twice Once for abscess and next for fistula. It won't be much painful
