Head - behind. I have a hard peanut size small lump on the back of my head. Which doesn't pain. I suddenly noticed it around 2 months ago. It has neither decreased nor increased. Can you please tell me what it might be and whom should I consult? Thank you. Ps : I had one painful lump in my armpit and now it's very very very small and doesn't pain anymore or increase. I had got it checked. It was auxiliary swelling etc .

Hello, Lumps on head are usually harmless It could be sebaceous cyst, hard boil, ganglion etc. It need to be examined to say exactly what it is. There are excellent medicines in Homeopathy to dissolve such growths on head.  Surgery may not be needed. You can consult a nearby homeopath or me here in Jayanagar Bangalore.

it could be anything from a cyst, lipoma, ingrown hair etc. usually if a lump does not increase in size over a period of few weeks its unlikely that its something to worry. but then again i would suggest you consult a general surgeon or a neurosurgeon as the lump has to be examined by a doctor.
