Hai Doctor,suffering from PCOD .first pregnancy by IUI in 2012,i wanted 2nd kid,when approached doctor they gave metformin it dint help & they told me to go for IUI again , which i am not ok , need suggestion on this

With medication and regular fallow up with your gynaecologist you should decrease carbohydrate intake, take foods made-up of whole grains like whole wheat bread, Decrease fat intake and increase protein content. Take high fiber diet, fruits, vegetables but avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes. Take plenty of water avoid sugar drinks....Regards.

You can get pregnant without an IUI also. You can take tablets for inducing ovulation & do follicular sonography for follicles growth monitoring.

You should go to the fertility expert to clear your doubts, if first pregnancy was iui, wht was the reason for that as every pcod don't have anovulation.. If you suffer definitely need drugs to superovulation then you can try cycle with timed intercourse... Try for 3 cycles and then go for iui... As in your age quality of eggs also important...
