Hi, I began taking paxil about 10 years ago. I began at 5mg and stayed on it for less than a year before my dosage was upped to 10mg. Then to 15mg, and about 5 years ago to 20mg. Currently, my doctor gave me the okay to lower my dosage back to 10mg. I did so around 6 days ago and the withdrawal symptoms are moderate; the feeling of sadness and doom are bad and my physical symptoms are subsiding. My main concern however, is my hypertension.
