Hello 1. Please don't worry 2. Your child has partial optic atrophy that means still some part of optic nerve is functional so your child may have full vision or less than normal vision 2. vision assessment at this age is done by fixation reflex...as u said your child is not fixing this suggests that his vision MIGHT be less than normal 3. After age of 6 months...vision assessment can be done by TAC (teller acuity card) test which can give some idea about visual potential of eye 4. Keep in touch of your opthalmologist and follow his instructions
