Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  When a person's hand is immersed in water or when it comes in contact with soap or other detergents, a condition called contact dermatitis would happen. I would suggest you get it looked at by a dermatologist because no skin issue can be effectively treated without seeing. You can use a elovera-imf moisturiser on her hand. Best regards.
