Painful lump near vegina

My friend just told me that she has a lump near her vegina, which is now painful and she is unable to sit. Any suggestion what it coult be. I have already suggested her to see the Dr. But I am really scared, please help.

Consult Now
It may be bartholin cyst which can be infected and causing pain. Consult gyno. She may advise some minor surgery. Or may be some boil. Then she should take antibiotics and anti inflammatory.
