Pain,tenderness on scalp

For the last 1 week I have been experiencing extreme pain , tenderness on the right side of the scalp. No swelling, no redness , no history of injury , no vomiting , no unconsciousness , no fever has been experienced. Pain occurring even on touching the surface of hair. No difficulty in vision or in hearing.
