Pain, swelling - 10 days after injection

I have pain, swelling and stiffness in one of the hips almost 10 days after I took an injection at the same area. The injection was to treat stomach infection due to which I had suffered an acute stomach ache. I was on an antibiotic course for 3 days after the injection, but this pain and swelling started only about 10 days after I had taken the injection. What's the possible cause of this, and tentative treatment?
