Pain on right side os sternum

MRI says Subchondral cystic changes on right side of sternum. I have pain on right side of sternum which is relieved upon lying on back.Starts paining as soon as start my day with activities even while walking . Is this because of cystic changes and does it mean that the cysts are present ?

Hello. Continuous pain in joint area is either due to inflammatory or infective pathology. Is there any other joint pain or pathology? Isolated sternal or sternoclavicular joint lesion may indicate infective pathology. Please visit to hospital for clinical examination and review of ur mri images.
