Since it is turning black it will definitely require a root canal treatment with crown

You have to take a radiograph followed by root canal treatment.Later a ceramic crown to mask the discolouration.hope this answers your question.

It seems to be internal resorption which generally occurs after trauma might be the cause of color change , get an iopa done, because trauma even can cause traumatic cyst, which gets infected and leads to pain, bleeding and exudation. Depending on that treatment should be planned.

It's something like a phoenix infection meaning restarted and colour change is due to blood clot .get an X-ray done to figure out if periapical abcess then get rct followed by crown and later apisectomy if required
