I had anal abscess drainage 3 months back. The wound is located 1 cm away from anal verve at 6'0 clock position. The wound has healed and no pus discharge. But when i touch the surgery wound, its still tender. When i sleep on my back continuously where the pressure is around the wound, the wound becomes hard and i get mild pain. After a few minutes or an hour, the harness reduces and pain also disappears. If i sleep in side position or on my stomach, nothing happens, no pain no hardness. My doctor told me that this is normal when the scar tissue is forming around a surgical wound. Is that correct? I am worried if this has anything to do with fistula formation.
