I am taking Doxycycline Hyclate and am now experiencing pain when food passes through my esophagus after I swallow, the pain is mainly in my upper back and chest, I’m not sure if this is serious ?

Hello. In my opinion, this sounds like acute gastritis from the doxycycline. Ask your doctor to add another drug to counter the gastritis and you will be better. Take care
