What is the difference between ovarian cyst and PCOS? " Necklace like fluid filled sac " - what is that? Is that the sign of PCOS? The patient have no diabetes, thyroid problem or weight gain problem.

Ovarain cyst is varying in size and can be filled up with fluids of various consistency.- hemorrhagic/clear/endometriotic In Pcod- the necklace appearance is due to multiple small ovarain FOLLICLE of 2-5 mm in size are seen arrange at peripheral margin in form of necklace. Also the stroma is echogenic and voluume of ovary is usually > 10cc
