Excessive sweating leads to loss of water & electrolytes from your body but glucose is not a content of sweat,,,glucose is a fuel for the body,so glucose is utilised by cells of body in the process of exercises/jogging/walking. ORS contains salts & glucose both. So , normally you should drink ORS or any other fruit juices rather than drinking only glucose water or only pure/plain water,,but if you are a diabetic person then avoid both of these & only drink pure/plain water ,, & if you are hypertensive ,,u can drink ORS or any other fruit juice,,but then you should avoid taking frequent ORS or plenty of ORS coz ORS contains salts too which can raise your Blood pressure,,so then again you should drink just pure/plain water MORE !!!!! I hope this might have provided you with any aid. Thankyou.

Plain water is sufficient for pre and post excercise. Kindly do not drink ORS for post excercise dehydration.
