My wife is just 19 yrs 6 months old. She has some allergy issues. So we can not use condoms. Now we want to use oral contraceptive pills. How to take this medicine as her cycle comes around 31-32 days. Is it OK to take this pill at an early age??? Which pill will be good for her health.

Thank you for your question. You need to see a Gynaecologist so that. Complete history and assessment of risk factors can be undertaken. Depending upon her individual needs a pill can be prescribed. There are several different types available. Your doctor will help you choose and also teach her how to take it correctly if it is appropriate for her. Her age is not a barrier to using the pill.
