Should there be such a big gap between joints in OPG?
So far, all x rays I have seen have joints with no or very little gap.
I also have pain in face(jaw and cheeks) and neck, tinnitus and pain in ear. Local dentist wasn't able to help. Does that gap something to do with it? Will the pain go away on its own? Please help.

The gap is filled by things not supposed to be visible on an x Ray. This radiograph was probably done to rule out any bony pathology. The gap is normal, don’t worry. The cause of pain may be the disc. It has to be examined by a specialist. Pain will not subside on its own if there is a cause. Please see a maxillofacial surgeon.
