I have been prescribed Ofloxacin and ornidazole for tonsils. Having pain while swallowing. Irritation in tonsils. Is this antibiotics good for treating tonsils?

The patient is allergic to penicillin group drugs. Previous treatment has failed or local resistance patterns suggest benefit.
