I am suffering from odentogenic keratocyst. Please tell me is it dangereous or what are chances of reoccurence and if my bone is slightly damaged so is there any need of cutting of jaw bone
Odontogenic keratocyst has a high incidence of recurrence. It is best to go for enucleation (removing the whole cyst). Whether you need resection of the jaw or not will depend upon the size of the cyst. But don't worry, if you do need it, you can have bone grafting done to rebuild the jaw bone.
