I purchased Ocupolds ointment as advised by doctor for severe eye strain due to overuse of mobile. Was advised to apply on eye lids twice a day. So wanted to know where exactly to apply - inside the lid on on top of it

You can take a bit of oint on finger tip and gently rub it on eyelids for few minutes. In dry eye there is meibomian gland disfunction due to variable amount of inflammation may be a result of constant exposure to atmospheric pollution. Lubricant drops e.g. teardrop 2to3 times daily will take care of your dryness. Whereas the ointment containing antibiotic and steroid will take care of inflammation and infection.
