Numbness and feeling cold in legs

My father frequently facing numbness in lower body and feels cold inside the lower body which starts spreading from lower body to upper body. Sometimes his whole body feel twisted. Can someone please let me know what is the reason behind this and what could be the solution?

It could be stress related . Non specific neuropathy or any metabolic disease . Pls consult neurologist online or personally.
