Nt scan doubts
I completed 8 weeks as per lmp but by sonoqgraphy dates I will complete my 8 weeks only after a week...
So on which basis I should go for my nt scan... As per the week of lmp or through sonography dates... Kindly advice... Thank you in advance for all the doctors who are taking time to read my query and answering.. ...

Dating /early scan can predict the period of gestation very accurately with a margin of +- 3- 5 days . The period of gestation ( weeks of pregnancy ) is calculated using a measurement called CRL ( CROWN -RUMP LENGTH or length of the fetus ) . This is very accurate . If there is a difference of more than a week between period of gestation calculated from the ur dates and scan , the weeks predicted by the scan is taken as correct dates .
Hence ur nt scan has to be timed according to that.
