I recently put a contact in my eye that uses a hydrogen peroxide-based solution that neutralizes overnight. I thought the solution had neutralized but I apparently put it in my eye too soon.
My eye is fine but some of the peroxide ran into my nasal cavity and has irritated my right nostril / nasal passage. I was wondering if there’s any remedies or anything I can do to avoid infection and relieve the pain.
As such there wouldn't be any major issue except for a mild irritation for a few minutes. If it continues you can instill nasal nasal drops and take steam inhalation. It should be ok within sometime
Hydrogen peroxide can act as an irritant to nasal mucosa and cause mild pain for few mins to hour after accidental application. Usually no specific treatment is required. You can use saline nasal drops few times
