It would be prudent to ask this question to the doctor who has given you Norethisterone along with minipills
Minipills are progesterone only pills and Norethisterone is also a progesterone.
Usually progesterone only pills are taken for avoiding pregnancy only in lactation period.
If you are on minipills, you must be knowing that minipill takers have irregular menses. and adding an additional progesterone may make it more irregular.
Of all the OCPills available, Estrogen Progesterone combination pills are better at preventing pregnancy and cycle control, as compared to minipills.
Hence pregnancy may occur as the pills may fail.
