No sign of labour pain

Hi, I am writing for my wife,it has already completed 9 months and baby weight is little bit more around 3.5 kg and still there is no sign of labour pain. We have consulted with doctor and she adviced to get admitted in hospital.but we feel wait and watch for some days. Baby condition is normal and healthy.please suggest , am bit confused here. Regards, Ravi
