No sensation above knee

I am observing that I am unable to feel any touch sensation in a little area right above my left knee. And this area, as I have observed, has increased to my left knee in last few weeks. I trip a little at times and sometimes have some pain in the knee. I am scared as this problem is scaling up instead of getting cured
