I am 27 yr unmarried women not sexually active is not getting my periods from last two month.Sometime there is a little pain in lower side of abdomen and other than that no sign.THis have never happen before although I used to have a extremely painful periods but only sometime.ALso my job is such that I have to do night shift most of the time which has disturbed my sleeping pattern.PLease help.

Ohkk there are many reasons for not getting periods/menses. Stress, hormonal imbalance, ovarian cysts, PCOD. This needs a detailed evaluation. We need to get blood hormonal tests done and then transvaginal Scans. Kindly consult me thru practo if you need further help.

Your lifestyle can lead to irregular menses. Also there is possibility of thyroid problem or PCOD leading to irregular menses Kindly get evaluated and start management accordingly

Not getting periods can be of different reasons. For 1 or two are normal . Can be due to hormonal but if increase then get evaluated. Pcod etc if you have still questions consult on practo
