Kindly do note if he is a diabetic patient he may have a diabetic neuropathy which is common for all the patient with diabetic and more over there will be nimbleness and loss of sensation in the calf and foot will be there if there is no movement in the foot it may be a peroneal nerve palsy resulting n foot drop nothing to worry about kindly visit a physiotherapist nearby and have a electrical stimulation for the ankle to regain the movement and learn some re education exercises for the ankle too
