No interest in talking

Know I'm a bit of a weird human for this reason. Most people, even introverts, seem to be interested in getting to know people and socialising. It's said that we're social creatures for this reason. It's natural for us to want to interact with others and share our lives with them, while encorporating their lives into ours. This is not the case for me. I am bored by people generally, and I feel that I am boring to them too. I can't hold a conversation, as I quickly run out of things to say and ask. I'm just not interested. It's like nothing the other person says is of any importance. Nothing people say spurs me on to find out more about them. I just don't care. Sometimes, when I do meet somebody who i find interesting (normally they make interesting observations, are ironically funny, or have a certain mysteriousness about them) I still find it difficult to talk to them, as I run out of thoughts. I have nothing more to say to them, nothing more to ask. This leads to awkward silences

Is it a problem for you? If it is then you need to seek help from a psychiatrist. If not, then why worry?

I think u need help. I guess there is a small problem which I cannot say for sure without a proper history. In life independent thinking, a goal directed work and meaningful relationships  are important for a valued life. Communication and interactions are very important for success at work place and in personal life. Your problem can be solved. Don't worry and don't ignore it. Discuss with a professional.

If that attitude or behavior is affecting your daily life,  probably then you can Consult  a psychologist. If not,  and You are happy about it,  just ignore it. Perspective differs from people to people.
