My 15day old baby has blood spots in her stools occasionally (has happened twice so far). What could be the reason? She arches her back, and makes grunting sounds as well frequently. Stool consistency is runny and not dry - not like diarrhoea either.. She is on combination feed - has NanPro 1 as formula and breast feeds as well. She drinks around 30 - 60ml of breast milk/formula in each feed..

Blood spots are matter of concern. If you can do stool tests and send reports that would be good Arching of back usually happens in colic. So please do burping properly and give colicaid drops.
