Recurrent urinary tract infections in a 17-year-old male are uncommon and warrant a thorough evaluation. Since you also have persistent bladder symptoms and nerve-related complaints, an underlying neurological cause (neurogenic bladder) should be considered, in addition to urological causes.
I recommend evaluation by both a urologist and a neurologist/neurosurgeon. An MRI of the lumbosacral spine is important to look for any abnormality affecting the nerves supplying the bladder. Further investigations such as urodynamic studies, ultrasound of the kidneys and bladder with post-void residual urine, and urine culture may also be required.
If you develop worsening leg weakness, numbness around the groin, or inability to pass urine, seek emergency medical attention immediately.
